Bodmin Moor is the location for many of the Poldark scenes and in particular, for ‘Nampara’, Ross Poldark’s family home. The ‘village’ of Sawle is also located close by but both of these locations are privately owned and there is no public access so with respect to their owners, we will not divulge the exact locations.
St Breward lays claim to having the highest pub in Cornwall and a particularly good one at that. The Old Inn is renowned for its all day Sunday roasts.
